蜂の絶滅現象？
Ecological Apocalypse: Why Are All The Bees Dying?
この記事では世界的な規模で蜂の数は劇的に減って行く最中だと云う。
そこでアルベルト・アインシュタイン は凄いことを口にしたらしい：
"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man
would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination,
no more plants, no more animals, no more man," said Albert Einstein.
蜂は地球から消えたとすれば人類はそれから４年の生命しかない。蜂がいなければ、
受粉はない、植物もなくなり、動物は次第に絶滅になり、それから人類はいなくなるだろう・・
この蜂の連鎖反応的な関係について初耳だった。
現状を言うと：
その記事にReports that bee populations are declining at rates of up to
80% in areas of the U.S. and Europe
アメリカのある領域とヨーロッパで８０％までに蜂の数は減少している
Bee numbers on parts of the east coast and in Texas have fallen
by more than 70 percent, while California has seen colonies drop
by 30 to 60 percent.
東海岸のある地域とテキサス州では蜂は７０％減って、カリフォルニア州で
３０－６０％である。
これはちょっと気になるニュースだ。
原因は？
科学物質の汚染はその一つで・・それに：
"Experts believe that the large-scale use of genetically modified
plants in the US could be a factor," reports Germany's Spiegal Online.
それにＧＭ、すなわち遺伝子操作で作られた食物の影響は大きいと思われます。
どちらにせよ小さな存在に大きな影響力があることは間違えない。
人間の大自然に対する愚かな意識が反映されているであろう。
